Blossoming Rose's extensive background in grant writing includes being Senior Grant Writer and Planner for Miami-Dade County Community Action Agency.  She has comprehensive experience in securing funding for education, green, housing, transportation, construction, youth, social services and capacity building.  As the Executive Director of two community development corporations, she was responsible for the funding and administration of multi-million infrastructure projects, commercial developments, new construction, multi-dwelling rehabs and numerous community based funding programs.  Blossoming is the Founder of Rosengod Education Institute.  She has a degree in Psychology-Counseling and over 20 years as an Educator and Teacher, Trainer the Trainer”, Public Speaker, Grant Writer, Counselor, Curriculum Developer and Entrepreneur.  Blossoming has written over $50 million in grants; and she specializes in writing grants for housing, education and non-profits.  She co-authored Life of a Strawberry.  Her passions embrace the development and nurturing of the human spirit to reach its infinite potential.

Karen Miller, Ph.D., is retired from a career as a university educator and as an adult training curriculum developer. In 2006, she joined in partnership with PDC Affordable Housing - PDC works with non-profits and developers - to secure funding and development management services in housing for moderate and low income families. Since 2007 she has secured over $19,000,000 for non-profits to develop housing for the most needy, including homeless and other special needs populations. She brings 35 years dealing with various housing, related energy, technology, and consumer issues in corporations and academia. Additionally, she has expertise in energy and green building issues. She has served on the Foreign Housing Technology Committee of the National Institute of Building Sciences, as well as ASTM (American Society of Tests and Measurements), and UL Committees. Her expertise includes Training Programs Development for Fortune 500 companies. Her experience includes authorship of over 100 grants, papers, articles and presentations related to housing, energy, and technology. Dr. Miller has an award for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Dr. Miller is a Professional Engineer and Emeritus Professor of Industrial Engineering.  He has spent his professional career primarily as an educator, researcher and grant writer at the University of South Florida.  His primary interest today is in the area of project management.  He is currently teaching undergraduate courses in Project Management at the University of South Florida. He recently taught graduate courses, short courses and seminars in project management. Dr. Miller teaches domestically and internationally.  During his academic career, he successfully wrote R & D grants,  and was awarded over $5 million in engineering research projects.   Dr. Miller has written and presented over 75 professional papers nationally and internationally.

As a former Senior Community Builder with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Tom has an astute knowledge of grant funding research and grant writing. Fondly known as “Dr. Z”, he has a Master's Degree in Finance and Marketing from Columbia and Pace Universities.  He has a vast background of over 25 years of experience in community economic development, affordable housing/finance, community capacity building, financial feasibility analysis and community revitalization strategies.   He specializes in developing fundable grant programs for private corporations, private non-profits, community development corporations and faith based organizations.  Utilizing tax credit programs, federal/state/city funding, bond dollars and foundation sources, he has secured over $900 million dollars in financing.  He has been commissioned to author numerous literary works including technical documents, books, research guides and manuals.  His passions are writing, reading, teaching and contributing his expertise to inner-city organizations.
