Life Experience Program
We are now pleased to offer an Experiential Learning or Life Experience Program for those interested in Cornerstone Christian University. To be eligible, you must have accrued transferable credits and many years of ministry experience.
How To Qualify For Life Experience
This option will be substituted for a maximum of 60 credit hours or 20 courses of three credits each. Documentation will be a compilation of students’ complete ministry history and experience as well as any transferable coursework from other colleges, seminaries, and or universities.
Tuition For Life Experience
Tuition for this program is a $625.00 Life Experience Credit fee
which will accompany the student's resume. The resume must be an in-depth and extensive portfolio of all documented, acquired and demonstrated learning. Acceptance of a Life Experience resume will be determined from all past transcripts that are received, validated and approved by the CCU.
Course Requirements For Life Experience
Additionally, students will then be required to take 10 or 20 concentration courses at CCU to complete the Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree within the selected concentration. The cost for the 30 credits or ten courses is $1,800.00. Any credits short of the 120 credits required for the Bachelor must completed at CCU.
Review Of The Life Experience Portfolio Requirements
- The student will create a Life Experience Portfolio (an extensive resume) completely documenting all past ministry experience in chronological order. For the purposes of evaluation, ‘unofficial’ copies of all transcripts will initially be acceptable and must accompany the portfolio. Once accepted, CCU will need the official transcripts from the schools where they were earned.
- Student can enroll at CCU by contacting us via e-mail or call us at (877) 307-1457 to inform our staff that a portfolio is being prepared and that they desire to be a candidate for this program.
- Once your portfolio is received and approved and the tuition is paid, students will be notified by e-mail and will then receive information on enrolling at CCU for the remaining credits.
- If for some reason, the portfolio is not acceptable, we will endeavor to work with students to review your portfolio presentation. This may enable us to approve it, or substitute CCU's courses to equal the requirements.
- Once your portfolio has been approved and you have been notified, you will at that time make payment for additional course requirements.
