Home Inspection Apprenticeship Program

Home Inspection is an exciting and challenging career. To become a competent inspector requires extensive training and “Hand-On” field experience.

We provide training and “Hands-On” Home Inspection Training. This is a specialty educational program designed to provide field training to become a Home Inspector within the State of Florida. The program consists of an educational component and an apprenticeship with a Certified Home Inspector.

FEATURES OF THE HOME INSPECTION PROGRAM:
• Learn how to conduct residential real estate Full Home Inspections
• Learn how to conduct State of Florida Wind Mitigation Inspections
• Learn how to conduct Four Point Inspections
• Learn how to effectively utilize electronic hand held devices to conduct “paperless” inspections
• Learn how to market to the real estate and insurance industry

Participation in this Apprenticeship Program is limited. Some roofing or construction experience is a prerequisite to be accepted into the Apprenticeship Program.

About Our Inspector

Ken Clarke
Trainer, Home Inspector

Ken Clarke has been in the construction industry for over 25 years. He is a Certified Wind Mitigation Inspector with the State of Florida; and he has conducted over 2,000 wind inspections. He is certified and licensed to conduct Full Home Inspections throughout the State of Florida; and he has specialty certifications in mold, Chinese drywall and other insurance related inspections. Based on his background of conducting over 5,000 inspections for FHA, State of Florida, banks, cities, commercial/residential, he brings “hands-on” experience to the Home Inspection Apprenticeship Program and workshops. His training abilities, knowledge and expertise have been successfully documented by the number of certified and licensed inspectors that currently either perform State of Florida inspections or own their own company. He has a passion for technology that is exemplified through his innovative “paperless” and electronic inspections. He spends his leisure time fishing in the sunny South Florida area.
